We decide how the personal information collected through this site is used, which makes us the data controller. You can reach us about anything in this policy at [email protected].
Information We Collect
If you use our home visit or contact form, we ask for your name, phone number, email address and postcode. You can also tell us what you'd like to change in your kitchen, its rough size, the condition of the units, when you'd like the work done and anything else you think is useful. If you email us photos of your kitchen, we keep them with your enquiry. If you phone us, we may keep the date, time and number of the call, and calls may be recorded so we can train staff and check quality.
Why We Use It
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, book a home visit, prepare your quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the work. We rely on the consent you give when you send a form, on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask us about kitchen work.
Who We Share It With
Your enquiry is handled by Interiors by Haroys, who carry out home visits, quotes and fitting (see our Referral Disclosure). We also use a small number of service providers for website hosting, delivering form messages, answering calls and measuring how the site is used (SiteBehaviour). They can only use your information to provide those services. We never sell or rent your details.
Measuring How the Site Is Used
We use SiteBehaviour to see how people use this website, such as which pages are read, how far people scroll and what they click, so we can make the site easier to use. It can show heatmaps and anonymised recordings of a visit, with anything typed into our forms hidden. It sets no cookies and gives your device no lasting identifier. Visits are counted with a code that resets every 24 hours, so separate visits can't be linked, and nothing it records tells us who you are. How Long We Keep It
Enquiries that don't go further are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. If you go ahead with work, records may be kept for longer to cover the job, any guarantee, and our tax and legal duties.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to have it moved to another organisation, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
